A Merry Married Christmas

My Darling Husband and I celebrated our first married Christmas this year and it was fabulous! I opted to host Christmas dinner and games this year since just my parents, my Darling Husband, and I would be in town.

We started with a very simple cheese plate served with champagne. We even used our champagne saucers that match our fine china! It's the little things, right? Then we face-timed with family on the west coast and moved into the dining room for dinner. I thought {briefly} about doing the ham myself, but I'm so glad I didn't. Honeybaked Ham is just around the corner and they do such a fabulous job, there really is no reason to make extra work. Dinner was delicious {if I do say so myself}. We let our tummies digest while playing games and had a bite of pie and called it a night. It was just lovely.

{Our first time using our fine china! Accent plates were a Christmas gift from my parents and the red wine glasses from my Secret Santa}

{Let's eat!}
