Getting Organized

I like to be organized. Granted, if you looked at my closet {floor}, you'd think otherwise. However, my closet aside, I like to be organized. I like to have my ducks in a row. I like to know what I have going on this week, month, year. I like to plan ahead. I like a schedule. I like routine. To keep myself organized, calm, and {relatively} together, I need to write things down. If I don't write it down, it's like it never happened.

I love love LOVE a to-do list. You'll find my to-do lists all over: on my iPhone, on my desk, on my refrigerator, etc.
{Is there any better feeling than checking the box when you've completed a task?}

I dig an old school paper planner. I know I can just put everything in my calendar on my phone, but there is something so satisfying about flipping open the pages of an agenda and seeing the whole month's plans. This year, I opted for this Lilly Pulitzer agenda. The girls here in the south have quite an obsession with them, so I hopped right on that bandwagon.

I meal plan, or else I eat nothing but pizza. Don't get me wrong, I love pizza, but I don't love feeling like the chubbiest girl in Pure Barre class. When I eat well-balanced meals, I don't over indulge and I don't meet any unwelcome inches to my waistline.

I make my lunch the night before.
