Airport Chic

These days, traveling is an inevitable part of life. When I travel, I want to be as comfortable as possible {duh}. However, the days of it being socially acceptable to be seen in public in yoga pants, Ugg boots, and my sorority sweatshirt are behind me.

I recently flew to the west coast for a fun-filled weekend. In an attempt to look put together while flying across the country, I opted for a simple look: red skinny jeans {with plenty of stretch}, a black tank top, a loose black cardigan, and wedge sandals {a very, very small wedge, might I add}. I put my hair up and out of my face in a big, polished bun. I made sure to have my tablet, book, headphones, and almonds tucked into my purse {aka my one personal item to store underneath the seat in front of me}.

Yes, it's important to be comfortable while traveling. However, it is not an excuse to throw caution to the wind and look like a hot mess.

Here are a few looks that are airport chic:

Helpful hint: a scarf can double as a pillow. Snooze away.
